Heroic – The last of the big ones!
In October 2010, the last of the big Bulk Carriers, ever to be built on Odense Steel Shipyard and in Denmark for that matter, left Lindø.
Danish Pilot Service, delivered the navigational team, that brought Heroic, as she was names, safely from the yard to the testing range and to Fredericia, where she stayed for a week, before the handover to her owners.
It was a smooth sea trial, and it showed that six in a row makes perfect. There were no problems and the sea trial was done in just 4 days.
Heroic has been busy since she left Fredericia. She's the living proof of Danish quality, and we are positively sure she will satisfy her owners well for many years to come.
Danish Pilot Service will still be busy with sea trials for Odense Steel Shipyard until it closes down next year.
